Everyone in the office… sees what concerns them
The managing partner, the lawyers, the researcher, the accountant and the secretaries work on one system, each with their own screen and permissions.
Managing partner
What needs your decision today, on one screen: urgent deadlines, requests awaiting approval, case and collection figures, and who is working on what.
Their day in the systemLawyer
Your hearings and their decisions, memoranda and filing dates, judgments and appeal deadlines, and your clients’ messages, on a computer or a phone.
Their day in the systemLegal researcher and consultant
Memoranda from writing to review to filing, consultations with their opinions and fees, and the file’s documents at hand inside the system.
Their day in the systemAccountant
Fee agreements and instalments, receipt and payment vouchers in Qatari riyals, expense requests to review, and any client’s statement of account.
Their day in the systemSecretary and receptionist
Receiving clients and opening files, recording hearings, printing the roll, POAs and handover acknowledgments, client notices by email and WhatsApp.
Their day in the systemHow are a law firm team’s permissions built?
Every user in Murafe has a role, and every role has permissions in each section: view, add, edit, delete and print. The office manager picks a ready-made role or creates a new one under its own name, so the accountant sees the vouchers and accounts, the lawyer sees their own files and hearings, and nobody sees what does not concern them.
A case marked confidential stays confidential to its case team and to those allowed to view confidential cases, and every change is recorded in the audit log with the employee’s name and the time. The roles on these pages are common examples in law firms; every office can shape its roles to the way its team works.
